Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians,
Welcome back to the start of Term 4. I hope that you all had an enjoyable holiday break and were able to spend some time together as a family. Unfortunately, the mighty Western Bulldogs were unable to win the AFL Grand Final, however the Melbourne Demons were very deserving winners.
We have had a very positive start to Term 4, with the Foundation-Grade 2 students returning refreshed and eager to learn. It is exciting to know that next week we will also begin welcoming the Grade 3-6 students back to school, even if it is only in a part-time capacity.

Onsite Intentions
If any families require their Grade 3-6 child/ren to attend St Patrick’s for onsite supervision on their remote schooling days, please email me at jbrayshaw@stpstratford.catholic.edu.au so that appropriate staffing can be arranged.
Visitors/Drop Off/ Pick Up
With new guidelines in place and the increased number of students attending to St Patrick’s, visitors (including parents) will not be able to enter the school grounds. All students must be dropped off and picked up from outside the school gates. At this stage, there will not be specific drop off and pick up times for different grade levels, however this will be monitored over the coming weeks.
If for any reason parents are requiring to enter the school, this must be done via the administration building.
School Uniform
Those students that have been attending onsite remote learning have been able to wear their sports uniform each day. As of Monday, 11th October this will change as all the students return to school, at least in a part time capacity over the next few weeks. All students must wear their correct school uniform on the correct day. Students will wear their full St Patrick’s summer uniform (including hat) to school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and their St Patrick’s sports uniform on Wednesday and Friday. St Patrick’s prides itself on wearing the uniform neatly and correctly, however the staff have been noticing that some students have become a little bit complacent in this area. Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct uniform at all times so that we continue to set high standards with our uniform.
I look forward to seeing all the students back in some capacity next week.
Kind regards,
Joel
